New Vegan Food Product – Vegan Flavor Drops

Hey there, babes & gents! I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

It was hot as balls here and I spent of it indoors, aside from a few hours spent with my Romanian family to celebrate the 19th birthday of my 2nd cousin-law. For my American readers you will be surprised to learn that here in Romania, 18 makes you a full adult. which means you can vote, drink, smoke cigarettes and everything else that deems you an adult. There are no other milestones after this to “enhance” your adulthood so the 18th birthday is a pretty big deal.

I had a good time, thanks for asking, but holy hell it was HOT.

Before the heat set in and I got sweaty & frizzy. 😉

Today I have a quick vegan food(ish) product to share with you.

I am always in search of ways to decrease my added sugar because let’s face, sugar is as much of a drug as any narcotic and I’d like to eat food and enjoy it without feeling compelled to have it thanks to a chemical reaction.

So for most of 2023 I have been using these flavor drops. The first round was from Vitamin Shoppe but with food shortages and all that jazz, they’ve been hard to come by. But my years living in Germany as taught me that this European German Mecca isn’t just efficient as all get-out, but it’s always a great resource when you’re in search of something vegan. Vit4Ever came through for me in a pinch and I am satisfied and grateful.

So I found more drops when mine started to run low. They are vegan, sugar-free, calorie-free and quite delicious.

These drops are very flavorful, but they require a few more droplets per drink (5 to 10) compared to the previous ones but they get the job done and I can add them along with sugar-free almond milk to my morning coffee, which doesn’t leave me with a sugar crash and I totally appreciate that.

My favorite, so far, is the coconut macaroon because it’s just so wickedly delicious. It tastes like a sweet treat but it’s not overly sweet or obtrusive. I can enjoy my coffee with enough sweetness that it’s enjoyable but not so much that I regret almost immediately after it’s done.

What do you use to sweeten your coffee or tea?

I am not an affiliate for Vit4Ever but it’s just another vegan product I wanted to share with you guys and I hope if you find something I might find useful or cool, that you’ll pass it along too. Links welcome!

I heard of those drops! Now I’ll have to try them. I’m anti-sugar; don’t even have it in my house. Sometimes I’ll indulge in vegan ice cream, and when I go to vegan restaurants I’m not going to be “that person” who asks every ingredient, but for the most part I’m a super clean eater. Those drops might be good in smoothies. What do you think?

Absolutely! They work well in anything you want to add a little bit of flavor to. Smoothies or even like cornbread or cocogurt for a nice parfait. Even cocktails
